Learn fine printing on the desktop press.
If you've spent any time with me, you'll know how I feel about the Adana and the desktop press.
Desktops are a fabulous presses. Popular in schools, offices and churches of the 1950s and 1960s, this letterpress printer applies all the same principles of fine printing without the space and financial costs associated with owning a larger press. If you know what you're doing, you can create truly beautiful letterpress work at home with one of these machines.
At this especially tailored one-on-one class, we will use my desktop Adana (affectionately named Maria) to create poems and calling cards using metal type, 3D printed type and photopolymer plates. If you already have your own desktop press you can bring it with you, or I can assist you with sourcing your very own Adana.
This is a private, one-on-one class that runs for approximately 2 hours. The date and time will be one that is mutually agreeable for both of us. All days of the week available except Sunday.
